Stratigraph Integration

If you use Stratigraph to manage your archaeological contexts and stratigraphic matrices, you can link your geophysical anomalies directly to your excavation records.

Linking Anomalies

Currently, integration requires exporting vectorized anomalies from DIG.

  1. In DIG, use the anomaly drawing tool or thresholding tool to isolate features of interest.
  2. Export these features as GeoJSON.
  3. In Stratigraph, go to your site's spatial import module and upload the GeoJSON file.
  4. You can now assign context numbers directly to the imported polygons, allowing you to track how a geophysical anomaly relates to an excavated feature.
